That was a quick March…..not sure where it disappeared to. We have been busy working away in the background on a variety of projects and gigs….even squeezed in a wee holiday to Berlin!
First up a few Glow Arts Presents announcements
- We are delighted that Jellyman’s Daughter will be opening for Blue Rose Code at Drygate Brewery on the 26th April. Tickets are selling well so don’t be disappointed get yours online today at www.musicglue.com. Bargain £12. Over 18s only.
- Off to Edinburgh with the amazing trio Haiku Salut at Henry’s Cellar Bar. Tickets £8 and available online now. They will also be appearing at Glad Cafe in Glasgow, with Pop-South
- The fantastic Buille featuring Niall & Caoimhín Vallely are coming back to Glasgow appearing at the Drygate Brewery on the 28th May. Tickets £12/£10. Over 18s only.
- The Braw Wee Emporium (Glow Art’s very own record and gift shop) is hosting another instore on the 12th April, to celebrate the launch of their EP at the evening before at Glad Cafe. Perfect opportunity to catch them if you can’t make the evening, child friendly and you get to support a local business too.
We were also delighted to find out that we have been awarded funding from Creative Scotland to be able to attend Jazzahead! in Bremen and host a ‘Jazz from Scotland’ stand. This is a partnership with Glasgow Jazz Festival, UNESCO City of Music and Scottish National Jazz Orchestra to promote the Scottish Jazz Sector to an International audience, make new links with artists and promoters from across the world.
